Westjet Pricing
WestJet offers a variety of fare options for different needs:

UltraBasic fares: This is the lowest price, no frills fare. It includes a personal item but does not allow for changes, cancellations, or WestJet Rewards earn. A carry-on bag is not allowed except when travelling to and from Europe and Asia or when Extended Comfort has been purchased for all flights in a single direction, including connections.

Econo fares: This fare allows for a personal item and a carry-on bag. Changes and cancellations are allowed for a fee. WestJet Rewards earn is included.

EconoFlex fares: This fare includes a personal item, a carry-on bag, and one checked bag. Changes and cancellations are allowed without a fee, but the difference in fare price will apply. Seat selection and WestJet Rewards earn are included.

Premium and PremiumFlex fares: These fares offer an enhanced experience with benefits such as inflight meals and beverages, priority services, and more. Please note that overweight and oversized baggage fees may still apply. For Econo, Premium, and Business fares, a cancellation fee will be charged and the remaining balance will be returned to Travel Bank. Inflight food and beverages in Economy cabin are included on International Boeing 787 Dreamliner flights. UltraBasic guests who do not select a seat before check-in will be pre-assigned a seat at the back of the aircraft at check-in. There is a fee to change a pre-assigned seat with UltraBasic. Standard selection is included for EconoFlex, Premium, PremiumFlex, Business, and Business Flex. UltraBasic fares are not eligible for WestJet Rewards earn or qualifying spend. Platinum and Gold members will not be eligible for same-day flight changes, complimentary upgrades, or seat changes when an UltraBasic fare has been purchased.

Westjet Return Policy?
The return policy of WestJet offers flexibility. If a travel advisory interrupts your travel plans, WestJet applies flexible change/cancel guidelines until the advisory is lifted. Options include changing travel dates to and/or from the same destination without charge for fare differences, changing the destination with or without changing travel dates, and cancelling the trip. Refunds are given according to the guidelines for the original fare bundle.
WestJet flights can be changed or cancelled up until two (2) hours before the flight is scheduled to depart. Changes and cancellations within 24 hours of booking are subject to any difference in fare. If you cancel your flight within 24 hours of the original booking, the full cost of your flight will be refunded to you in the original form of payment.
Changes made after 24 hours from your original booking time will be subject to any difference in fare and increase in government-imposed taxes or fees. Econo, Premium, Business and Member Exclusive fares for travel to or from all destinations in North America (including Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America) will be subject to a fee of $100 CAD/USD (plus tax, per person per fare component).
If you’ve cancelled your flight under an eligible fare or changed to a fare lower in price, your refund will be returned as a credit with WestJet and held in your Travel Bank. You and your client have the option of retaining the full ticket value up to 24 months for a future flight or refunding to the original form of payment.
